Our client is a large county government division with a need for experienced Data Entry Clerks.

Location: Greater Denver Area

Job Type: Contract

Annual Pay Rate: $12 to $14 per hour (DOE)

Schedule: 8am to 5pm / Monday to Friday

**MUST BE AUTHORIZED TO WORK IN THE U.S.A. FOR ANY EMPLOYER**

Maintains a database by manually entering new data and/or updating information.

Data Entry Clerk Job Duties:

• Prepares source data for computer entry by compiling and sorting information; establishing entry priorities
  
  
• Processes documents by reviewing data for deficiencies; resolving discrepancies by using standard procedures or returning incomplete documents to the team leader for resolution
  
  
• Enters data by inputting alphabetic and numeric information on keyboard and/or optical scanner
  
  
• Maintains data entry requirements by following data program techniques and procedures
  
  
• Maintains operations by following policies and procedures; reporting needed changes
  
  
• Maintains confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential
  
  
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of Data Entry Clerk experience
  
  
• Ability to achieve and sustain an average keyboarding rate of at least 8000 KSPH
  
  
• Ability to achieve and sustain a High Accuracy Rate on data entered or modified
  
  
• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and Outlook highly desired
