AI Output Verification & Accountability (Required Competency)

The candidate must be capable of effectively using AI tools (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot, or similar) to support work outputs such as content, analysis, documentation, or code. However, the candidate must also demonstrate strong judgment and ownership of the final deliverables. AI-generated output must never be treated as final without review. The candidate is expected to validate accuracy, completeness, logic, compliance, and alignment with business requirements, and refine AI-assisted work to meet the expected quality standards. The individual will be held accountable for the final output, regardless of whether AI tools were used during execution.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain SQL Server databases to support business applications and reporting needs.

• Responsibility for reviewing and validating AI-generated outputs
• Ownership of final deliverables, regardless of AI assistance
• Ability to critically evaluate AI results and ensure they meet defined requirements
• Accountability for accuracy, quality, and compliance

• Write and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, triggers, and functions.
• Ensure database performance, integrity, and security.
• Support database backup, restore, and recovery processes.
• Monitor database performance and troubleshoot issues proactively.
• Assist in data migration, ETL processes, and integration between systems.
• Collaborate with software engineers, QA, and DevOps teams to ensure seamless data flow and reliability.
• Participate in database documentation and version control practices.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 year of hands-on experiencewithMicrosoft SQL Server.
• Strong command overT-SQL, including query writing, joins, indexing, and optimization.
• Basic understanding ofdatabase normalization,data modeling, andER diagrams.
• Knowledge ofbackup and recovery,database security, andperformance tuning.
• Familiarity withSSMS (SQL Server Management Studio)or similar tools.
• Understanding ofETL conceptsand exposure to data integration workflows is a plus.
• Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications (Good to Have):

• Exposure tocloud-based databases (Azure SQL, AWS RDS).
• Experience withPower BIor other reporting tools.
• Understanding ofNoSQL databasesor data warehousing concepts.
