Disaster Recovery and Virtual Specialist (27648)

IDEALFORCE have a CONTRACT position available immediately for a Disaster Recovery and Virtual Specialist to join our customer in Phoenix Arizona. This is an ONSITE position. Primary role is to work on an existing Disaster Recovery (DR) project and requires self-starters who can reach out to technical experts, establish and conduct meetings, and gather input necessary to create DR dependency diagrams in Visio for all critical applications. Once diagrams are completed, you will create a backup of said systems, perform “bubble” restores in the DR environment, and coordinate with technical owners to verify service/system is available (adjusting diagram as needed). Additional IT-related tasks in support of Server Management Team tasks can be expected.

Qualifications

Must be proficient in Server OSs including Windows 2008R2, Visio, Virtual Environments (using VMware, vSphere, SRM, ESX), and must be a self-starter capable of completing assigned tasks once demonstration/instruction has been provided.
