Job Summary

The Divemaster is a highly skilled, highly trained and flexible employee that reports to the Watersports Manager. He or she is accountable for the safety and comfort of all guests involved in scuba and other water related activities. He or she is accountable for carrying out dive programs to PADI standards and practices.

Duties & Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Teaching PADI Courses and certified divers program in a professional manner
• Plan and guide safe dives
  
• Follow all fishing and dive regulations outlined by government and environmental agencies
• Review medical and liability statements for completion and compliance with requirements
• Assist with First Aid and CPR in case of emergency
• Participate in ensuring good care of watersports equipment and tools
• Report any source of guest feedback

The successful candidate should have:

• 
  PADI Divemaster rating
• Boat/Lifeguard License
• Experience as a Divemaster
• Minimum five (5) CXC subjects with Ranges 1 to 3 to include English Language
• Knowledge of diving equipment and maintenance to standard
  
• 
  Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Expectation to work well in a team
• 
  Positive work ethics and attitude
• 
  The ability to work flexible hours including nights
