About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Electrician to join our growing team. You will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and efficient electrical operation of our productions. This includes setting up, maintaining, and troubleshooting a variety of electrical equipment used in AV productions.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the AV team to understand production requirements and electrical needs.
• Safely install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical distribution systems, including power distribution units (PDUs), extension cords, and cabling.
• Conduct safety checks on all electrical equipment before, during, and after productions.
• Assist with rigging and hanging of lighting and AV equipment (may require working at heights).
• Troubleshoot electrical problems and ensure all equipment functions properly.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Assist with loading, unloading, and packing up equipment.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and company protocols.
  
  

Qualifications

• Electrical certification or equivalent experience in a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience working in live events, production, or a similar environment.
• Strong understanding of electrical principles, power distribution, and electrical safety.
• Experience with lighting equipment, dimming systems, and control protocols (a plus).
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong work ethic, reliable, and able to meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must be able to work flexible hours as well as on weekends
• Valid driver's license (preferred)
