Engineering & Maintenance Assistant - SISD Job Posting

The Engineering & Maintenance Assistant helps maintain vessels, facilities, vehicles, and equipment. This entry-level position is designed for someone interested in mechanics, engineering, construction, maintenance, or other skilled trades.

Typical duties may include:

• Assisting experienced employees with routine maintenance
• Organizing tools, equipment, and replacement parts
• Cleaning machinery and work areas
• Helping perform equipment inspections
• Recording basic maintenance information
• Assisting with preventative maintenance
• Helping troubleshoot simple equipment problems
• Learning the proper use of hand and power tools
• Reporting damaged or unusual equipment conditions
• Following workplace and equipment safety procedures

Qualifications: Applicants should enjoy hands-on work, be willing to learn, follow safety instructions carefully, and be comfortable working around machinery. Previous mechanical experience is helpful but not required.

Schedule: Part-time, approximately 10–20 hours per week.

Starting Pay: $22.00 per hour.
