Path Construction is seeking an Estimating Coordinator to support our estimating team and assist in the successful execution of the bid process from start to finish. Key Responsibilities:
- Report directly to the estimating team throughout the entire bidding process
- Receive and organize all bidding documents sent from client
- Order and pick up all project drawings required for bid
- Set up project specific bid comparison documents and folder
- Create formal invitation to bid packages that will be sent to all subcontractors
- Ensure all subcontractors received bid packages and confirm their intent to bid
- Collect and distribute all RFI’s and addendum issued during bid process
- Communicate award or non-award letters to subcontractors post bid
Requirements
- Associate’s degree or higher
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Adobe
- Strong communication skills with a professional phone presence
- Ability to manage deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong time management, organization, and follow-up skills
- Ability to take initiative and be resourceful, especially when bidding in new markets
- Willingness to work extended hours during active bid periods
- Working knowledge of the commercial construction industry
- Familiarity with subcontractor databases such as Blue Book
- Experience with estimating software such as On-Screen Takeoff, I Square Foot, or similar
