Role Summary:

The Head of Logistical Operations is responsible for leading and streamlining the entire logistics process and team. This role ensures all export shipments are coordinated seamlessly, compliance standards are met, and superior customer satisfaction is guaranteed through flawless execution and timely communication.



Key Responsibilities:


1. Team Management and Internal Flow

  • Lead the logistics team and ensure all members follow a highly organized and efficient workflow.
  • Collaborate closely with the Production Head daily to align logistics activities with the company's global production plan.
  • Track and confirm the Production team's loading requests for each destination to maintain schedule adherence.

2. Shipment Coordination and Execution

  • Handle direct communication with freight forwarders to secure container bookings and ensure their timely arrival at the IQF plant.
  • Verify that the Production team strictly follows all client-specific requirements for packaging, labeling, taping, and container quantities.

3. Client Satisfaction and Document Integrity

  • Ensure high client satisfaction by motivating the team to respond promptly to all client requirements and proactively share updates on shipments and loadings.
  • Oversee the team’s documentation process to guarantee that all shipping and export documents are sent as planned and contain absolutely zero errors.

4. Financial Review and Cost Control

  • Review and approve all freight and customs clearance invoices.
  • Ensure that all invoiced costs strictly match the price offers received from shipping and customs agencies.
  • Actively seek opportunities to reduce transportation and customs costs whenever possible.

5. Compliance and Quality Support

  • Liaise with the Quality Assurance (QA) department to provide any required quality documents for shipments.
  • Support the approval process for adding new pesticides to the product list by providing confirmation based on information from online subscription services.


Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, International trade, supply chain, or related fields.
  • 5 years experience in export operations or international sales(Preferably in manufacturing sectors)
  • Strong knowledge of export documentation and incoterms.
  • Excellent English(written & spoken)
  • Strong communication, negotiation and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and experience with ERP system is preferred(Oracle,SAP,..etc)

  • Ability to manage multiple shipments and clients.
  • Location Preference: Must reside in 10th of Ramadan, El Shorouk, El Obour, or Badr City.


Operational KPI :-

1. Team & Leadership Success

  • Ensure the logistics Operation team operates with 100% alignment toward achieving all departmental goals and milestones.
  • Build and sustain a work environment with high trust and transparency across all team members.

2. Operational Quality (Zero Errors)

  • Achieve a 100% Zero Error Rate on all vital client shipment requirements (labeling, Required temperature , Maximum allowed quantity, and documentation requirements).
  • Limit internal errors that cause stayovers to less than 2% of total shipments.

3. Client Service & Satisfaction

  • Drive the client satisfaction score to 98% or higher by the end of the crop.
