- Review, assign, and process incoming Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests
- Ensuring that FOIA requests and Privacy Act matters are handled in a responsible and efficient manner, and that statutory and established time standards are met
- Work with the agency FOIA and Privacy Act Officer to develop improvements in the agency
- Provide FOIA/PA guidance, support, and training to agency employees
Work on special projects related to FOIA processing
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor degree
- Two (2) years or more of strong knowledge of the Freedom of Information Act and Privacy Act
- Proficient in MS Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Excellent communication skills – verbal and writing
