They still operate as an independent, giving their teams great autonomy and encouraging close teams to enjoy their time at work together. The successful Restaurant and Bar General Manager will have -

Excellent people skills with both guests and your team. You will effectively communicate, delegate and motivate
A natural passion for food and beverages, you will be aware of trends within the market
A strong commercial focus, you will be an 'ideas' person and someone who thinks outside the box to drive revenue and save on the bottom line - here you will have autonomy
Experience with forecasting, GP's, P&Ls and business management plans
A CV which shows longevity and loyalty within your career
Awareness and a great working knowledge of all legislation that is relevant to your work: Licensing, Health and Safety at Work, COSHH, Environmental Health, Fire Precautions etc
