Job Summary:

The Grounds and Environment Manager is responsible for managing all the operational, administrative and maintenance aspects of our landscaping and environment activities. The incumbent is also responsible for monitoring and leading the activities of our Earth Check programme and to ensure the resort and team complies with the external legislations and audits.

The ideal candidate must:

• Possess Tertiary or any other related certification in Agricultural Science from a recognized institution.
• Have minimum 3 years’ experience in a managerial position.
• Have proven experience in horticultural practices and plant taxonomy.
• Have in-depth knowledge of plants, soils and insect diseases.
• Have knowledge of effective pest management principles, techniques, agents, and equipment.
• Have working knowledge of Earth Check principles and experience in the implementation of environmentally-friendly, practices/programmes.
• Have proven track record of ability to lead an experienced team.
• Have the ability to work flexible hours.
• Be computer literate.
