Starting Pay: $24.00/hour — higher pay available depending on experience

Position Summary

Seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic to service, troubleshoot, and repair heavy equipment, trucks, trailers, cranes, and other motorized machinery. This hands-on role requires strong mechanical skills, safe work practices, and the ability to address equipment problems promptly.

Some travel may be required for training, meetings, maintenance, repairs, or other work assignments.

What You'll Do

Qualifications

5+ years of maintenance experience with heavy equipment, trucks, trailers, cranes, or similar machinery.

5+ years of experience in at least two of the following technical areas:

• Hydraulics
• Electronics
• Small engines
• Air conditioning
• Other related mechanical systems
• High school diploma/GED plus trade school, dealership, or factory service training in diesel mechanical repair and maintenance equivalent to associate-level technical training.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Able to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and respond to urgent repair needs.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
• Professional certifications related to heavy equipment maintenance and repair are preferred/required as applicable.
• Additional certifications may be required based on assigned duties.

Physical Requirements

Frequent bending, twisting, stooping, kneeling, climbing, walking, sitting, and standing.

Ability to carry tools, parts, and other materials.

Ability to work in varying weather conditions.

Ability to work extended hours when necessary.

Regularly lift up to 50 lbs.

Assistance is required for items weighing more than 75 lbs. or items that create an ergonomic lifting or movement challenge.
