ROLE PURPOSE
The purpose of this role is to provide administrative and corporate support to ensure effective management and compliance of client entities. This role assists in the day-to-day administration of a portfolio of companies, including maintaining statutory records, preparing standard documentation, and liaising with internal and external stakeholders.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assisting in the formation, management and administration of Global Business Companies (GBCs), Authorised Companies (ACs), domestic entities and special licences, in accordance with the Companies Act and the Financial Services Act.
- Ensuring timely preparation and filing of statutory documents with the Registrar of Companies and the Financial Services Commission (FSC).
- Drafting and maintaining corporate documents such as board resolutions, minutes, registers and share certificates.
- Collecting, verifying and regularly updating Know Your Client (KYC) documents; assisting with client due diligence in accordance with AML/CFT guidelines.
- Assisting with the opening of bank accounts for clients; preparing and processing payment instructions and bank forms, and liaising with bankers on client transactions.
- Maintaining ongoing communication with clients and responding promptly to queries, ensuring a high level of client satisfaction.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date internal databases and physical files for all assigned client entities.
- Coordinating with auditors, legal advisors and other third-party providers for the smooth administration of client structures.
- Providing administrative and operational support to Senior Administrators, Managers and Directors as required.
- Staying updated on changes in laws and regulations affecting the industry and assisting in implementing internal compliance policies.
Qualifications and Experience:
- BSc in Finance; a diploma in a related field is an advantage.
- At least 1 year of relevant experience.
Knowledge and Technical Competencies:
- Working knowledge of the Companies Act 2001, the Financial Services Act, and FIAMLA.
Behavioural Competencies:
- Good attitude, eagerness to learn, discipline and a team player.
