Kotlin/Java Software Engineer

We are looking for a passionate and experienced Kotlin / Java SW Engineer to join our team in Abu Dhabi.

Job responsibilities:

• Research, design and development for cutting edge cellular communications solutions using Kotlin, Akka, Gradle, Gitlab and Docker
• Design and development of Domain Driven Design, Reactive Architecture, Actor based system
• Develop CI/CD pipeline, Unit tests, integration tests and E2E tests
• Work collaboratively with professional developers, system architects and product managers to deliver high quality technical solutions
• Contribute to technological and architectural decisions
• Work and collaborate in multi-disciplinary Agile teams, adopting Agile spirit, methodology and tools

Requirements:

• 10+ years of experience in Kotlin and Java software development
• Experience with functional programming, message-based communication, Reactive programming, DDD and TDD
• BSc or equivalent in computer science or related field
• Ability to read documentation and create tools based on the specifications
• Self-directed - highly capable at planning out work and executing projects independently
• Team player experienced in working in agile environment
• Excellent analytical, problem solving, and debugging skills

• Passion for Software Development and Technology in general
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Flexible attitude, ability to perform under pressure
• Good level of spoken and written English language (upper-intermediate)
