Land Development Manager

We are looking for an experienced Land Development Manager with a strong Civil Engineering background to join our team. This role is ideal for a professionally registered Civil Engineer who is ready to apply their technical expertise within a broader land development environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate the technical aspects of land development projects from initial assessment through to implementation.

• Assess potential development sites from a civil engineering and infrastructure perspective.

• Review and interpret civil engineering designs, layouts, reports and technical documentation.

• Coordinate infrastructure requirements including roads, stormwater, sewer, water and associated municipal services.

• Liaise with consulting engineers, professional teams, municipalities, authorities and other relevant stakeholders.

• Monitor project progress and ensure technical deliverables are completed within agreed timelines.

• Identify technical, infrastructure and development risks and recommend practical solutions.

• Review engineering proposals, designs and cost considerations to support informed development decisions.

• Coordinate external consultants and ensure alignment between the various disciplines involved in development projects.

• Support land development planning, feasibility assessments and due diligence processes.

• Assist with obtaining relevant technical approvals and ensuring compliance with applicable standards and regulations.

• Provide technical input throughout the planning and development lifecycle.

• Maintain accurate project documentation, reports and progress updates.

Minimum Requirements

• BSc in Civil Engineering or equivalent recognised Civil Engineering qualification.

• Approximately 5 years' relevant Civil Engineering experience.

• Professional registration as a Professional Engineer (Pr Eng).

• Strong practical understanding of civil infrastructure and land development.

• Experience working with multidisciplinary professional teams and external consultants.

• Good understanding of municipal infrastructure requirements, technical approvals and development processes.
