Lead Radiology Technologist

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate radiology operations, including scheduling, workflow management, and quality control processes.

• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures across multiple modalities such as X-ray, CT, MRI, and Ultrasound, as certified.

• Develop, implement, and update policies, procedures, and protocols tailored to a new hospital setting.

• Train, mentor, and evaluate imaging staff, promoting a team-oriented environment focused on safety and quality.

• Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards, radiation safety protocols, and accreditation requirements.

• Maintain andmonitorimaging equipment, coordinating with vendors for servicing, calibration, and repairs.

• Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and hospital leadership tooptimizepatient care and streamline imaging services.

• Participate in readiness activities for state and accreditation surveys to ensure compliance and quality standards are met.

Qualifications:

• 3–5 years of experience in modalities such as CT, X-ray, MRI, or Ultrasound, verified by ARRT or RDMS certification.

• Prior leadership or supervisory experience isrequired.

• Minimum of one year of hospital-based imaging experience.

• An associate degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school, along with relevant training and experience.

• Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (RDMS).

• BLS certification isrequired.

• Multimodality Technologists must have certification in two or more modalities or have completed an accredited cross-training program.
