• Lead the management, optimisation and continuous improvement of Qantas' national physical security infrastructure portfolio comprising more than 7,000 assets across 100+ locations. 
• Leverage technology, and data-driven insights to enhance asset management  performance and reporting  
• Partner with Group stakeholders, suppliers and project teams to deliver fit-for-purpose physical security infrastructure and solutions that support operational requirements, regulatory compliance and business needs.

We are seeking an experienced Manager Security Assets to lead the management, optimisation and future development of physical security infrastructure across the Qantas Group. Responsible for a diverse portfolio, you will oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of physical security infrastructure including access control, CCTV, intrusion detection, alarm monitoring and emerging smart security solutions. You will lead asset maintenance optimisation initiatives, renewal programs and continuous improvement activities to maximise asset performance, reliability, compliance and long-term value across the portfolio. 

A key focus of the role is leveraging technology, and data-driven insights to improve asset performance and oversight, inform investment decisions and optimise the planning, maintenance, renewal and replacement of physical security infrastructure throughout its lifecycle. Working closely with the broader Security team, Property Development, IT and Operations teams, you will ensure security assets remain fit for purpose and aligned to operational and business requirements. Acting as the Security lead for infrastructure and property projects, you will provide specialist advice on asset requirements, minimum security installation standards and implementation, ensuring successful project delivery and long-term asset sustainability. Through strong project management and stakeholder engagement, you will drive asset improvement initiatives and ensure security infrastructure continues to support the evolving needs of the Qantas Group. 

You'll Have 

• Proven ability to leverage technology, and data analytics to optimise asset performance, maintenance strategies, lifecycle planning and investment decision-making, delivering measurable operational and business outcomes. 
• Proven ability to manage supplier performance, service delivery, maintenance contracts, budgets, governance and reporting, while ensuring security infrastructure remains compliant, reliable and fit for purpose. 
• Knowledge of physical security systems, including access control, CCTV, intrusion detection, alarm monitoring and related technologies. 
• Strong project management experience delivering infrastructure, asset renewal and security-related projects, including new installations, upgrades, relocations and asset replacement programs. 
• Understanding of security, compliance and risk management frameworks, ideally within aviation, transport or critical infrastructure or similarly regulated industries. 
• Strong stakeholder engagement, influencing and communication skills, with the ability to develop practical, fit-for-purpose security infrastructure solutions and work effectively across multiple stakeholders within complex and regulated environments.
