Marketing Assistant

Retail Information Systems(RIS) provides cost-effective, highly configurable and scalable point of sale and inventory control software solutions to retailers worldwide. RIS serves and consults with customers who operate retail operations, from small specialty to large chain stores and provides software and hardware implementation, custom programming, project management, and eCommerce design, integration, and implementation.

RIS is actively seeking a motivated Marketing Assistant to assit with social media coordination, lead generation for new and existing clients, and marketing campaigns. Candidate must be have advanced editing and editing skills. Candidate must be CREATIVE: if you enjoy speaking with others, bouncing brand marketing ideas off the wall, and thinking outside of the box, this position is for you.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years experience in marketing, customer service, and/or business development
• Impeccable written and verbal communication skills
• AA or BA in Marketing, Public Relations, Communication, Fashion Merchandising, or Consumer Science a plus, but not required
• Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook experience required
• Graphic Design and/ or web management a plus
• Retail experience a double plus
