ME381 - Part-Time Driver - Upper East Side

Overview

A family based on the Upper East Side is seeking an experienced, reliable part-time personal driver for school runs, commuting, and family errands.

Schedule: Monday–Friday, approx. 7:30–9:00 a.m. and 3:30–6:30 p.m. (extended to 8:00 p.m. about two days per week); occasional weekend hours as needed. Guaranteed minimum of 25 hours/week, September through June, with the potential for annual renewal based on performance.

Responsibilities

• Driving the children to and from school and activities in Randall's Island; schedules might slightly change and shift each season
• Running some errands for the family
• Some weekend driving might be needed; prior notice will be given
• Driving client to work in midtown

Requirements

• Must have and use own reliable, well-maintained vehicle

• Valid driver's license and clean driving record

• Comfortable with a background check

• Professional demeanor, discretion, and respect for family privacy

• Flexible and responsive to reasonably requested schedule changes

Salary and Benefits

Compensation: $50/hour, paid biweekly, plus a $500/month stipend for vehicle-related costs (mileage, wear and tear, tolls, fuel).
