Position Summary
The Media Buyer & UA is responsible for planning, executing, and optimizing advertising campaigns across multiple traffic sources—including internal publishers, ad networks, and major traffic engines like Facebook and Taboola—to drive profitability for EZmob.
This role requires a high level of autonomy in managing campaign budgets, optimizing ad creatives, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, deep experience with tracking tools (e.g., Voluum, AdKernel), and a proven record of achieving performance targets.
Key Responsibilities
Traffic Acquisition & Campaign Management
- Purchase Traffic: Acquire traffic from both internal and external sources (e.g., direct publishers, ad networks, major traffic engines).
- Campaign Setup & Optimization:
- Launch and configure campaigns with various ad formats.
- Optimize campaigns based on performance data, focusing on ROI and profitability.
- Manage budget allocations (starting with an allocated budget of approximately $2,000 per month, with room for scaling based on performance).
Performance Tracking and Reporting
- Data Analysis:
- For campaign monitoring, use tracking tools (e.g., Voluum, AdKernel, Facebook Pixel, GTM).
- Analyze campaign metrics (impressions, clicks, conversions, ROI) and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Reporting:
- Produce daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports.
- Summarize campaign activity, insights, and action items to share with team members and management.
Collaboration and Communication
- Cross-Department Coordination:
- Collaborate with the Advertisers Manager, Direct Manager, and Direct Publishers/Programmatic Sources Manager to ensure campaign alignment.
- Submit requests for creative assets via standardized forms and follow up with the design team.
- Client Interaction:
- Engage in the new advertiser onboarding process, ensuring thorough research, documentation, and setup.
- Handle lead management, credit reference processes, and follow up with prospective and active advertisers.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Experience:
- Minimum 2–3 years of hands-on experience in digital media buying, preferably in a performance-based environment.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency with tracking platforms (e.g., Voluum, AdKernel), ad servers, and reporting tools (e.g., Tableau, Google Sheets).
- Familiarity with major traffic sources such as Facebook, Taboola, and others.
- Analytical Skills:
- Strong ability to analyze campaign data and generate actionable insights.
- Experience with A/B testing, bid management, and campaign scaling.
- Communication:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective internal and client interactions.
- Project Management:
- Ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Team Collaboration:
- Proven track record of working effectively with cross-functional teams, including finance, creative, and client management.
