Mental Health Therapist

Summary of Position Responsibilities

Are you a Mental Health Therapist looking to provide quality mental health services to improve each client’s mental and psychological well-being while working to preserve and strengthen them within their community. The 70x7 Wellness Mission is seeking a Mental Health Therapist to provide diagnostic assessments, therapy, and counseling, and support services for our clients. The Mental Health Therapist will be familiar with other services and resources in the community and work closely with them to provide information and support when required.

This opportunity will be best suited for a Mental Health Therapist looking to start a partnership with the organization and able to bill on their own.

Job Requirements:

• Active LCSWC, LCPC, LMSW or LGPC license in the state of Maryland.
• Proficient computer skills. Experience in electronic medical records preferred (ICANotes).
• Possess sound judgement, professionalism, and compassion for client care.
• Excellent documentation and communication skills.
• Familiarity with COMAR, BHA, and CARF standards and requirements.
• 2+ years’ experience with providing diagnostic assessment and therapy
• Maintain professional licensure and/or certification throughout employment with this agency
• Superb organizational skills and ability to guide, direct, or influence people
