TLPCentre is a centre for individuals with Autism and other related developmental disorders. It is the first day school of its kind located in a serene part of Lagos Island. It provides support to optimize the independent functional living of the affected. The intervention provided include Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA), Structured Teaching, Speech Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Music Therapy, Swimming Therapy,
Physical Therapy.
The main goal at TLPCentre is to prepare every client for inclusive learning, acquisition of Self Management skills and generalization of varied skill sets across board. 

• Assessing and evaluating patient’s conditions and needs
• Assessing a patient’s home and/or work environment and recommending adaptations to fit the patient’s needs and improve independence
•  
• Developing treatment plans to address patient’s needs and help them meet specific goals
• Implementing therapy
• Evaluating progress
• Educating, counseling and training patients and their caregivers to use special equipment
• Developing physical rehabilitation programs to help clients regain lost skills
• Preparing clients for a return to work.
• Documenting patient care

Qualifications

• Educational Qualifications: A bachelor's degree in occupational therapy from a university certified by the ACOTE (Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy Education).
• Certified by the National Board for Certification.
• Compliant with the National Medical Association healthcare regulatory requirements.
• Certifications in Pediatrics, Mental Health, Physical Rehabilitation and feeding, eating and swallowing.
• Possess up-to-date knowledge of treatment practices and physical therapy programs.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to take care of clients with different personalities.
• Comfortable using a computer for various tasks.
• Ability to assess patient conditions and work with treatment plans.

Professional Qualifications

He or she must be registered under the Medical Rehabilitation Therapy Board of Nigeria
