Ocean Import Operator

Candidate Requirements:

•2-3 years experience in an Ocean Import position
•Excellent customer service & organizational skills
•Excellent telephone manner
•Willingness to learn and develop

About the role:

We're looking for an operator working as part of a busy Ocean Import team based in Manchester importing cargo from worldwide origin points for a variety of customers.

Working as part of a small team, your role will involve processing Freight Import shipments from start to finish and delivering a high level of customer service.

Candidate must have a minimum of 2-3 years of experience within an Ocean Import position.

Training on companies system will be provided.

Essential Skills:

Knowledge dealing with FCL & LCL cargo
Knowledge of customs clearance requirements
Quotations
Booking jobs and arranging collections and deliveries
Bookings in regards to shipments
Invoicing and job accounting
