Provider’s Role with the Company:

  • Assist with the administration of chemotherapy and radiation, as well as supportive care and treatment for patient symptoms

  • In consultation with physicians and specialists, Oncology RN will formulate a goal-directed plan of care and establish treatment priorities based on patient needs and the availability of resources.

  • Examine and assess the full health of patients, focusing on physical, mental and emotional status, as well as nutrition, pain, and family involvement.

  • Monitor, evaluate and record the treatment results.

  • Assist patients, and their families, in understanding the disease, the treatment plan, and any possible side effects.

  • Advise patients on disease prevention and personal care.

  • Provides support and guidance throughout patient’s treatment, linking families to healthcare services and communicates with the doctors on behalf of the patient.

Qualifications

Background Profile:

  • Registered Nurse/RN

  • License and Board Certification in state of NY

  • 3-4 Years or more of oncology experience preferred

  • Team-oriented & outstanding communication skills
