Your New Role

• Work on civil construction projects throughout Pennsylvania.

• Projects are generally located within 1.5 to 2 hours of Fairview, Pennsylvania.

• Operate heavy equipment including excavators, loaders, and skid steers.

• Complete underground utility and pipe installation work.

• Perform shoring, grading, and backfilling as part of underground construction projects.

• Assist with bridge restoration and bridge construction activities.

• Set forms, place rebar, and support concrete pouring.

• Perform grading, asphalt work, seeding, and other site restoration activities.

• Complete routine maintenance on construction equipment and vehicles.

• Follow established jobsite safety procedures.

• Work closely with the crew to complete projects safely, efficiently, and to established quality standards.

Requirements

• 3 to 5 years of experience in civil construction or a similar Operator/Laborer position.

• Valid CDL Class A.

• Journeyman Certification.

• Experience operating heavy equipment such as excavators, loaders, and skid steers.

• Experience with underground utility and pipe installation.

• Knowledge of shoring, grading, and backfilling.

• Experience with concrete and asphalt work.

• Ability to perform hands on construction work involving bridgework and site restoration.

• Completion of high school coursework.

• Ability to meet standard pre-employment screening requirements.
