Pharmacy Sales Executive – Cosmetics & Skincare

Job Purpose

Responsible for promoting and selling cosmetics, skincare, dermocosmetic, and pharmacy-related beauty products to customers in a retail pharmacy environment. The role involves providing product advice, achieving sales targets, maintaining excellent customer service, and building strong relationships with customers, pharmacists, suppliers, and brand representatives.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Promote and sell cosmetics, skincare, dermocosmetic, personal care, and beauty products.

• Provide professional product recommendations based on customer needs, skin concerns, preferences, and budget.

• Explain product benefits, ingredients, usage instructions, pricing, promotions, and offers.

• Achieve assigned sales targets, revenue objectives, and product-specific sales KPIs.

• Build and maintain strong customer relationships through excellent service and product knowledge.

• Support customers with skincare consultations and recommend suitable products within the approved product range.

• Coordinate with pharmacists and pharmacy teams when customers require additional advice or referral.

• Maintain attractive product displays, merchandising standards, shelf availability, and promotional materials.

• Monitor stock levels, product expiry dates, slow-moving items, and replenishment requirements.

• Support product launches, promotional campaigns, sampling activities, demonstrations, and in-store events.

• Maintain accurate records of customer enquiries, sales activities, product feedback, and competitor pricing.

• Follow pharmacy, company, health and safety, customer service, and product handling procedures.

• Keep up to date with skincare trends, cosmetic ingredients, product ranges, competitor activity, and industry developments.

• Handle customer questions, complaints, returns, and after-sales support in a professional manner.

• Coordinate with suppliers, brand representatives, marketing teams, and store management to support sales growth.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Degree or Diploma in Pharmacy, Marketing, Business, Sales, Cosmetics, Beauty Therapy, or a related field preferred.

• Experience in pharmacy sales, cosmetics sales, skincare sales, beauty retail, dermocosmetics, or customer-facing retail.

• Good knowledge of skincare products, cosmetic ingredients, beauty routines, and common skin concerns.

• Experience selling premium skincare, cosmetics, personal care, or pharmacy products is an advantage.

• Strong customer service, communication, consultation, negotiation, and sales skills.

• Ability to understand customer requirements and recommend suitable products responsibly.

• Target-driven, commercially aware, and motivated to achieve and exceed sales objectives.

• Confident in product demonstrations, visual merchandising, promotional activities, and customer engagement.

• Professional appearance with a positive, approachable, and customer-focused attitude.

• Ability to work effectively with pharmacists, pharmacy staff, customers, suppliers, and brand representatives.

• Knowledge of pharmacy retail operations, point-of-sale systems, and stock management is beneficial.

• Experience in the UAE or GCC pharmacy, cosmetics, skincare, or retail market is an advantage.
