One of our direct client, a BigData & Data Science major is implementing BigData solution at end client site and is looking for a strong Postgres DBA to implement Postgres in BigData environment. This is a long term position with confirmed assignment for 6+ months.

• Must have at least 3+ yrys of exp with Postgresql.
  
• Must have at least 9+ yrs of exp in IT
• We cannot sponsor H1's for now.
• For corp_to_corp deals
• We accept only employees on your payroll
• Payment terms are strictly 45 days from date of invoice.

Qualifications

1. In depth understanding of postgresql internals including configuration for big data deployment

2. Experience in performance tuning of queries

3. Experience on a data warehouse

4. Experience in indexing strategy for performance

5. Experience in sharding PG

6. Experience in PSQL
