This position primarily focuses on front-of-house duties while also supporting backstage operations under the guidance of the Production Manager.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Address special guest needs and requests promptly.
  • Engage with students while they are waiting for rehearsal to begin.
  • Ensure safe release of students to their caregivers post-production.
  • Process YPACShop Retail orders efficiently.
  • Serve as a host for special events as required.
  • Coordinate with technical staff for smooth operation during productions.
  • Assist performers and crew with backstage needs.
  • Ensure props, costumes, and other backstage materials are organized and ready.
  • Help set up and strike sets as necessary.
  • Assist in coordinating rehearsals and backstage schedules.
  • Support performers during costume changes and scene transitions.
  • Assist with backstage communication and cueing.
  • Coordinate with stage managers and directors for backstage requirements.
  • Provide assistance with lighting, sound, and other technical aspects backstage.
  • Assist in snow removal and pathway salting as needed for outdoor productions.
  • Assist guests in selecting merchandise and provide product information.
  • Process transactions accurately and efficiently using the POS system.
  • Maintain organized and visually appealing merchandise displays.
  • Monitor inventory levels and restock merchandise as needed.
  • Provide excellent customer service to enhance the shopping experience.
  • Welcome guests as they arrive and assist with seating arrangements.
  • Direct guests to their seats and provide assistance if needed.
  • Monitor seating areas to ensure compliance with venue capacity and safety regulations.

  • Attend workshops or educational courses as required.
  • Share acquired knowledge with the team for collective growth.

Dress Code:

  • Maintain a clean and tidy appearance.
