Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Education, Communication, English, Humanities, Social Sciences, Psychology, or a related field
  • 3–5 years of teaching, academic leadership, training, coaching, or people development experienceStrong background in Learning and Development (L&D), communications training, talent development, coaching, or BPO training is an advantage
  • Strong communication, facilitation, coaching, and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to develop programs that strengthen communication skills, professionalism, workplace readiness, and student formation
  • Strong organizational, leadership, and people management skills
  • Knowledge of Outcomes-Based Education (OBE), curriculum development, and academic quality assurance processes
  • Experience as a Program Head, Department Chair, Trainer, Team Leader, Training Supervisor, Quality Coach, or similar leadership role is preferred
  • Experience managing faculty, trainers, teams, or learning programs is highly preferred
  • Preferably with doctorate-level education or ongoing doctoral studies


Responsibilities:

  • Program Leadership and Development
    • Lead and continuously improve the institution’s General Education Program in alignment with academic standards and institutional goals
    • Develop initiatives that strengthen students’ communication skills, professionalism, critical thinking, confidence, adaptability, and workplace readiness
    • Integrate emerging workplace trends, digital competencies, and technologies such as Artificial Intelligence into General Education initiatives where appropriate
    Faculty Supervision and Development
    • Supervise, mentor, coach, and support General Education faculty members
    • Ensure faculty members meet institutional and regulatory requirements
    • Develop and facilitate faculty training, coaching, upskilling, and professional development programs
    • Promote a culture of excellence, professionalism, collaboration, and continuous learning among faculty members
    Instructional Oversight
    • Monitor the quality and effectiveness of teaching delivery across General Education subjects
    • Ensure alignment of learning outcomes, teaching strategies, and assessments with institutional standards and student development goals
    • Strengthen student engagement and classroom effectiveness through best practices in instruction and communication
    Workplace Readiness and Student Development
    • Apply proven training, coaching, and talent development practices to strengthen students’ soft skills and professional competencies
    • Support programs that develop communication, teamwork, customer service, leadership, problem-solving, and professional behavior skills
    • Collaborate with academic and student support units to enhance student success and employability
    Monitoring and Evaluation
    • Monitor faculty performance, student outcomes, and overall program effectiveness
    • Analyze program data and recommend improvements to curriculum, instruction, training, and student development initiatives
    • Ensure compliance with institutional policies, accreditation requirements, and regulatory standards while continuously enhancing the quality and relevance of the General Education Program
