Looking to build on your property or legal administration experience?
We are looking for a fixed-term Property/Legal Administrator to support within our busy Auckland Property, Construction & Major Projects team, covering for parental leave. This role will keep you engaged with a varied and interesting workload while working within a social and supportive environment.
Experience in a legal or property administration role would be highly beneficial, as would the completion of (or current study towards) a legal executive diploma. You will be supporting three active Partners and their teams, and working alongside two Legal Executives and a Legal Administrator in the wider Property team.
The role will include:
- Providing proactive and professional support including calendar, email and meeting management
- Administering the onboarding of new clients and opening of matters incl. supporting the AML process
- Leading the billing, matter management, client reporting and debtor management processes
- Attending to settlements and related activity
- Producing legal and correspondence documents to a high standard within specified timeframes
- Facilitating Chapman Tripp's client relationships and business development through the use of InterAction, Aderant and other tools/systems
- Working collaboratively within the team and across Chapman Tripp
You will bring:
- Previous experience in a property/legal support role
- Experience with high volume conveyancing
- Ideally a Diploma in Legal Executive studies - or current study towards one
- Strong client service focus
- Poise under pressure, high self-motivation and positivity
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Organisation and time-management skills
- IT savvy and adaptable nature
- Pro-active forward-thinking approach
