About this role
We are looking for a young lawyer with enthusiasm for the law, curiosity, and a strong desire to learn and develop, to join our established Wellington Tax team.
The role is part of a highly successful national Tax team and works closely with highly respected Tax Partner, Vivian Cheng. The work will involve advice on NZ and cross-border commercial transactions, review and negotiation of transaction documentation, obtaining IRD binding rulings, tax disputes and tax policy submissions.
This is a diverse and rewarding role that will suit a strong technical skill set and someone who enjoys collaboration, is solution oriented, and thrives on getting to the bottom of things.

Relevant Skills and Experience:
- 1 to 3 years PQE
- Strong LLB transcript
- Collaborative team player
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical skill
- High attention to detail and methodical nature
