At the Bridge, we develop user-focused web applications for top-notch clients. We are seeking a QA Engineer with experience in automation for web applications.
Experience in testing complex and highly scalable applications. We are constantly creating new features and updating existing products.
Experience creating automated tests for web applications.
Enjoy working closely with product management and engineering to develop the acceptance criteria and ensure full test coverage.
Be excited to learn scripting languages to create and maintain automation scripts
Review product requirements, specifications and technical design documents for an early flow and functionality flaw discovery
Day-to- day work includes:
- Driving exploratory testing, authoring test plans and test cases.
- Product requirements analysis and processing
- Generating and maintaining a full QA documentation set (work with Testrail as main test case management tool)
- Being part of a distributed agile delivery team, working closely with development/design/product management to coordinate efforts
- Taking part in continuous process improvement and giving process recommendations
Qualifications
2-3 years of QA testing experience. focused on automation.
Experience using bug management tools like JIRA, Trello, Asana and/or Gitlab
Experience running Bash scripts and working in terminal
Knowledge of Git a must.
Manual testing experience, experience using scripts, running API requests from Terminal and API tools (Postman) required.
Previous experience with Automation and coding skills great
Experience working in a startup or other fast paced environment is a Plus
Working knowledge of agile software development life-cycle
Experience in automated testing tools (e.g. Selenium, Cucumber, Appium)
Node.js stack is a plus
