This is more than a traditional Retail Manager role. 

We're looking for an experienced retail leader to join one of New Zealand's most recognised women's fashion retailers. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you'll be responsible for the performance of all Repertoire stores while leading, supporting and developing our network of Store Managers across the country.  

This is a highly influential role where you'll combine commercial leadership, coaching and customer experience to drive sales growth, strengthen store performance and ensure every store consistently delivers a premium brand experience. 

About the role 

Reporting to the Managing Director, you'll lead the performance and development of our retail operation by: 

• Driving sales growth and profitability across all stores by supporting Store Managers and their teams to achieve and exceed sales, IPS and conversion targets. 

• Developing and implementing sales plans and initiatives that deliver growth and improve store performance 

• Reviewing sales results, identifying opportunities and working with Store Managers to take action that improves performance and profitability 

• Leading monthly Store Manager performance reviews and regular leadership meetings. 

• Working closely with Marketing and Visual Merchandising to ensure stores consistently reflect the Repertoire brand. 

• Creating and embedding a premium, personalised customer experience across all locations. 

• Recruiting, coaching and developing Store Managers. 

• Supporting retail training and leadership development initiatives. 

• Building an engaged, high-performing culture focused on customer service, sales results and operational excellence. 

• Travelling regularly to stores to coach, support and inspire teams.  

Qualifications

About you 

You'll be a proven retail leader who enjoys developing people as much as delivering results. 

You'll bring: 

• Retail leadership experience across multiple stores, regions or brands. 

• A strong track record of delivering sales growth and improving business performance. 

• The ability to coach and develop leaders to achieve their potential. 

• Strong commercial acumen and confidence working with sales and operational data. 

• A hands-on, practical leadership style. 

• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills. 

• A passion for creating exceptional customer experiences. 

• The flexibility to travel regularly throughout New Zealand.
