Key Responsibilities

• Assess, monitor, and evaluate patient conditions, identifying changes and initiating appropriate interventions.
• Administer medications, treatments, and therapeutic procedures in accordance with physician orders and nursing standards.
• Utilize specialized equipment and clinical resources to provide safe, high-quality patient care.
• Monitor patient outcomes and adjust care plans as necessary to promote optimal recovery and well-being.
• Ensure compliance with infection prevention protocols, patient safety standards, and regulatory requirements.

Lead the Plan of Care

• Develop and implement individualized patient care plans based on clinical assessments and patient goals.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate treatment plans and ensure continuity of care.
• Perform ongoing evaluations of treatment effectiveness and patient progress.
• Facilitate discharge planning and coordinate referrals and resources when appropriate.

Collaborate with a Multidisciplinary Team

• Partner with physicians, therapists, case managers, and support staff to deliver coordinated care.
• Participate actively in interdisciplinary team meetings and care conferences.
• Delegate and supervise patient care activities as appropriate.
• Serve as a clinical resource and role model for colleagues, new graduates, and support staff.

Educate, Advocate & Support

• Build meaningful relationships with patients and families through compassionate communication.
• Educate patients and caregivers regarding diagnoses, treatments, medications, and recovery goals.
• Advocate for patients' physical, emotional, and psychosocial needs.
• Promote an environment of dignity, respect, and patient-centered care

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

• Current, active, and unrestricted California Registered Nurse (RN) License
• At least 1 year recent experience and knowledge in Sub-Acute Care, Skilled Nursing, Long-Term Care, Rehabilitation, Telemetry, or Acute Care
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
• Pediatric experience or completion of a pediatric course within one year of hire
• Strong communication, assessment, and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work varying shifts, including days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to remain calm, flexible, and effective in a dynamic healthcare environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• AHA Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Bilingual communication skills

• Our organization follows an in person work structure where the expectation is to work onsite on a weekly basis. The hospital is located at 14662 Newport Ave, Tustin, CA 92780.
• The total compensation target pay range for this role is $41.00- $62.00 base hourly. The salary range represents our national target range for this role. 12-Hour Shifts = 8 Hours regular base rate. Hours over 8 in 12-Hour shift are 1.5x OT.
