Sany Motor Grader Operator

Job Purpose

To operate a motor grader (SANY) efficiently and safely for road construction, leveling, and grading works, ensuring surfaces are prepared to required specifications and project timelines are met.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate a SANY motor grader for road construction, leveling, spreading, and grading activities.

• Perform fine grading, shaping, and finishing of road surfaces, shoulders, and drainage systems.

• Maintain proper slope, alignment, and surface levels as per engineering specifications.

• Conduct daily pre-start checks and routine inspections of the equipment.

• Ensure proper maintenance and safe handling of the grader to minimize downtime.

• Work closely with surveyors and supervisors to achieve accurate grading levels.

• Follow all safety regulations and site procedures at all times.

• Identify and report mechanical faults or safety concerns promptly.

• Maintain cleanliness and safe working condition of the machine.

Qualifications and Experience

• Valid heavy equipment operator certification/license (Motor Grader).

• Minimum of 3–5 years’ experience operating motor graders in road or infrastructure projects.

• Experience in road construction and maintenance projects is highly preferred.

• Familiarity with SANY graders or similar equipment.

• Basic mechanical knowledge for routine maintenance.

Additional Requirements

• Must have a clean criminal record (certificate of good conduct may be required).
