Pay Rate: $23.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the healthcare location, including parking areas, building entrances, and perimeter areas, to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for employees, visitors, vendors, and contractors in accordance with site procedures.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain detailed documentation of incidents, patrols, observations, and unusual activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of law enforcement, military, or corrections experience.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
