Security Officer

As a Security Officer, you will be a vital part of our team, responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our guests, team members, and hotel assets. Through vigilant monitoring, rapid response to incidents, and collaboration with internal departments and local authorities, you will help maintain a safe and welcoming environment that reflects the high standards of Conrad Athens The Ilisian.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular patrols of all hotel areas including public spaces, team members zones, and parking facilities.
• Monitor CCTV and other security systems, responding immediately to suspicious or dangerous situations.
• React promptly to security incidents such as alarms, thefts, or accidents, ensuring proper documentation and reporting.
• Provide support and assistance to guests and employees during emergencies, including administering first aid if certified.
• Identify and report potential hazards or breaches of hotel security policies.
• Enforce hotel safety regulations and contribute to a secure environment.
• Cooperate professionally with police, fire, and emergency services when required.
• Maintain strong working relationships with external authorities to ensure coordinated response efforts.
• Participate in safety training sessions and stay informed on the latest security policies and best practices.
• Maintain a neat and professional appearance in line with hotel standards.

Requirements

• Previous experience in security or related roles, preferably in the hospitality sector.
• Knowledge of security procedures, emergency response, and safety regulations.
• Ability to remain calm and act decisively in emergency situations.
• Good communication skills and ability to interact professionally with guests and colleagues.
• Certification in First Aid and CPR is a plus.
• Fluency in Greek and English; additional languages are advantageous.
• Strong sense of responsibility, integrity, and attention to detail.
• Physical fitness and ability to conduct patrols and stand for extended periods.
