Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time TSA Issued TWIC Patrol in Deer Park, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. You will support a caring, professional environment through routine patrols, teamwork, integrity, and reliable service while reflecting Allied Universal’s agile and innovative values.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution terminal.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of terminal buildings, loading areas, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials, directing authorized visitors and drivers, and documenting entry and exit activity.
• Report unusual conditions, damaged property, access-control concerns, and other security-related observations to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a Transportation Worker Identification Credential issued by the Transportation Security Administration.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
