Job Description

As a Security Officer Unarmed Field Patrol in Savannah, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate professionally, and report security-related concerns. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures and responding professionally to questions or concerns.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of healthcare facilities, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity or potential hazards.
• Respond to incidents, medical-related emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific protocols and contacting appropriate personnel.
• Monitor access points and help maintain authorized entry procedures for restricted areas in accordance with facility policies.
• Document incidents, observations, patrol activities, and security-related concerns accurately and promptly in required reports.

Minimum Requirements:

• Preferred ability to lift more than 20 pounds.
• Preferred comfort using a computer or tablet.
• A state, county, or city-issued license to work in a security-related role is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
