Senior Accountant, Professional Services

Our professional services client is looking for a Senior Accountant to support the firm Controller. The firm has grown to over 50 employees, and they need someone who can thrive in a rapid-growth environment with few processes in place. This is a great opportunity for a Senior Accountant to help build out the accounting department in a growing company and make an impact by setting up new processes and procedures.

• Enter day-to-day G/L entries

• Assist with the month-end close process and reporting

• Work with the Controller to develop new accounting processes

• Perform variance analyses on financial results

• Ensure adequate internal controls within the firm

• Liaise with the outside CPA firm

Qualifications

• Four-year degree in Accounting

• 4+ years of accounting experience

• Quickbooks knowledge REQUIRED

• Professional services experience strongly preferred

• Ability to succeed in an environment with few processes in place

• Ability to multi-task
