We are looking for a Senior DevOps/FinOps Engineer who is passionate about infrastructure optimization, cloud efficiency, and solving complex technical challenges in high-load environments.

You will become part of a highly autonomous engineering team working on infrastructure scalability, reliability, and cost-efficiency improvements for a mature production-grade platform. The role combines DevOps expertise, FinOps practices, and strategic collaboration with Product and Engineering stakeholders.

CUSTOMER

Our Customer is a global cybersecurity company delivering advanced solutions that help organizations protect digital ecosystems, applications, and online services from sophisticated automated attacks, fraud, and malicious activity. Operating at large scale, the company focuses on improving online trust, security, and operational resilience across modern digital platforms.

PROJECT

The project is a high-load cybersecurity platform designed to safeguard applications and online services from malicious bot traffic and automated threats. The system operates within complex distributed environments and requires continuous optimization of infrastructure performance, scalability, and cloud spending efficiency.

You will work closely with Engineering and Product teams to identify technical gaps, improve infrastructure visibility, and drive cost optimization initiatives across production systems.

Key Technologies: GCP, Kubernetes, Terraform, FinOps, Infrastructure-as-Code, Distributed Systems

• Develop a deep understanding of complex, high-traffic infrastructure systems and services
• Analyze distributed systems and legacy components to identify inefficiencies and optimization opportunities
• Build and maintain infrastructure cost visibility, including reporting pipelines and dashboards
• Identify and implement short-term and long-term infrastructure optimization initiatives
• Collaborate with Engineering and Product teams to present and drive technical improvements
• Own optimization initiatives end-to-end, from proposal to implementation and impact validation
• Improve infrastructure scalability, reliability, and operational efficiency
• Contribute to Infrastructure-as-Code and automation practices

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of hands-on DevOps experience in high-traffic production environments
• Strong practical experience with FinOps, infrastructure cost optimization, and reporting
• Deep understanding of cloud infrastructure cost drivers and optimization strategies
• Experience presenting technical proposals and optimization initiatives to engineering leadership
• Solid hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform
• Production experience with Kubernetes
• Practical experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools, preferably Terraform
• Knowledge of observability and monitoring solutions
• Hands-on experience with Helm
• At least an Upper-Intermediate level of English

WILL BE A PLUS

• Experience working with multi-cloud environments
• Background in cybersecurity, fraud prevention, trust & safety, or application protection
• Practical experience with Looker 
• Experience with large-scale distributed systems
