Senior Engineer Manager Infrastructure & Tooling

Drive Scalable Infrastructure for Robotics

Your Role & Responsibilities

• Lead and develop Infrastructure, DevOps, and Tooling teams while fostering a strong engineering culture built on collaboration, ownership, and continuous improvement

• Define and drive the infrastructure strategy and roadmap in alignment with product, robotics R&D, and business goals

• Own the reliability, scalability, security, compliance, and cost optimization of infrastructure platforms and services

• Establish and improve standards for CI/CD pipelines, observability, monitoring, automation, and developer experience

• Contribute hands-on to infrastructure architecture, automation, and critical technical initiatives

• Collaborate closely with software, robotics, AI/ML, and product teams to ensure stable and efficient development and production environments

• Guide architectural decisions across cloud, hybrid, and on-premise infrastructure landscapes

• Mentor engineers through technical coaching, regular feedback, design discussions, and code reviews

• Support hiring and scaling of engineering teams together with the recruiting organization

• Continuously improve infrastructure processes, tooling, operational readiness, and platform performance

Requirements

Required Technical & Professional Expertise

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience

• Strong background in Infrastructure, DevOps, Platform Engineering, or related technical domains

• Several years of experience leading engineering teams and supporting the growth of technical talent

• Hands-on expertise with Linux environments, Kubernetes (AKS), Azure, Terraform/OpenTofu, Docker, and GitOps practices

• Experience designing and operating hybrid cloud and on-premise infrastructures for complex engineering or R&D environments

• Strong understanding of system architecture, networking, storage, scalability, monitoring, and observability concepts

• Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or InfluxDB

• Proven ability to manage and operate business-critical production systems

• Pragmatic and solution-oriented mindset with a strong focus on long-term platform stability and scalability

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills in cross-functional environments

• Experience with robotics, edge infrastructure, MLOps, or Nix is considered an advantage
