Senior Test Analyst – Defect Analysis (Financial Market Data) (m/f/d)

Your Role & Responsibilities

• Act together with the Defect Manager as the central intake point for newly reported defects during Integration Testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and Customer Testing phases

• Perform defect triage and assess incoming defects regarding priority, severity and functional impact

• Conduct an initial analysis of reported defects and identify the responsible development area or feature team

• Support the localisation of potential root causes to enable efficient defect resolution

• Participate in regular defect review and triage meetings

• Support the creation and maintenance of defect statistics and reporting

• Analyse defect trends and contribute to the identification of recurring development weaknesses and quality issues

• Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, testers and development teams throughout the defect lifecycle

Requirements

Required Technical & Professional Expertise

• Strong experience in the field of Financial Market Data

• Experience as a Business Analyst, Requirements Engineer, Test Analyst or in a similar analytical role

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities

• Experience in defect analysis and defect triage activities

• Business Analysis and/or Requirements Engineering knowledge

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

• Assertive and proactive working style

• Experience supporting defect reporting and statistical analysis

• Ability to identify development weaknesses through defect trend analysis

• Familiarity with database queries and the ability to independently create low to medium complexity queries
