Senior Frontend Developer - UniFi Connect

Join forces with us on our mission to build a better IT industry. We are currently looking for a highly skilled Senior Frontend Developer to our team in Stockholm, Sweden.

Please note that applicants must live in Sweden and hold a valid work permit at the time of application to be considered for this role

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain modular, reusable React components to deliver rich and responsive user interfaces
• Collaborate with designers and product managers to continuously enhance UI/UX, proposing improvements to existing interfaces and shaping new user flows
• Write and maintain comprehensive test cases to ensure code quality, reliability, and maintainability
• Contribute to frontend architectural decisions and participate in design/code reviews to uphold best practices
• Build scalable front-end visualization components for displaying device relationships, floorplans, and system topologies
• Build and maintain reusable AI skills, agent definitions, and their specs so AI-assisted workflows stay accurate over time
• Critically review and verify AI-generated code for correctness, rather than accepting it as-is

Requirements:

• 5+ years of professional experience in a similar position
• Highly proficient in JavaScript and TypeScript
• Extensive experience with React
• Strong understanding of programming principles, design patterns, and modern web protocols and security practices
• Proven ability to analyze and troubleshoot technical issues and deliver effective solutions
• Passionate about clean code, performance optimization, and frontend best practices such as profiling and UI responsiveness
• Experience integrating AI-assisted workflows into front-end pipelines — e.g., automating repetitive tasks, code review, or test generation
• Experience writing and maintaining executable specifications and living documentation that stay in sync with code as it changes
• Familiarity with MCP (Model Context Protocol) and connecting AI tooling to internal systems (design tools, issue trackers, component libraries, docs)
• Experience with AI-assisted code review as part of the development workflow

Nice to have:

• Experience with Node.js and/or additional programming languages or full-stack development exposure.
• Familiarity with state management using Redux and React-Redux, and saga-based side-effect / async flow handling (redux-saga).
• Proficiency with styling solutions such as styled-components.
• Experience with testing frameworks such as Jest.
• Background in handling multimedia files (e.g., video, audio, image optimization) within the UI.
• Exposure to frontend development for networking, mobile, or IoT device interfaces.
• Familiarity with visualization libraries or techniques used for topology maps, hierarchical graphs, or interactive layouts.
• Experience implementing high-interaction UI behaviors such as zooming, panning, snapping, and node-link editing.
