Senior Mobile Developer (Flutter)

Envision Employment Solutions is currently looking for Senior Mobile Developer (Flutter) for one of our partners, a leader in the Consulting & Technology Services!

Objective:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Senior Mobile Developer (Flutter) to join our Cybersecurity and Data Resilience team. This role is ideal for an early-career IT or cybersecurity professional looking to develop expertise in cyber recovery, ransomware resilience, and data protection technologies.

Responsibilities:

Mobile Application Development

• Design, develop, and maintain cross-platform mobile applications using Flutter.
• Build scalable, maintainable, and high-performance mobile solutions that meet business requirements.
• Integrate mobile applications with RESTful APIs, third-party services, and backend systems.
• Optimize application performance, responsiveness, and user experience across Android and iOS platforms.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application defects and performance issues.

Architecture & Technical Leadership

• Contribute to application architecture and technical design decisions.
• Promote clean code principles, reusable components, and development best practices.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and maintainability.
• Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance across the development team.
• Contribute to technical documentation and knowledge sharing.

Testing & Quality Assurance

• Develop and maintain unit and widget tests.
• Support application testing, debugging, and release activities.
• Ensure applications meet quality, security, and performance standards.
• Collaborate with QA teams to resolve issues and improve software quality.

Collaboration & Continuous Improvement

• Work closely with UI/UX designers, backend developers, product managers, and stakeholders throughout the development lifecycle.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Stay current with Flutter, Dart, and mobile development best practices.
• Recommend improvements to development processes, tools, and application architecture.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in mobile application development, with significant hands-on experience using Flutter.
• Strong proficiency in Flutter and Dart.
• Experience developing and maintaining cross-platform mobile applications for Android and iOS.
• Strong understanding of mobile application architecture and design patterns (MVC, MVVM, BLoC, Clean Architecture, etc.).
• Experience integrating RESTful APIs and third-party SDKs.
• Strong knowledge of state management approaches such as Provider, Riverpod, Bloc, or Cubit.
• Experience with Git and collaborative version control workflows.
• Familiarity with Firebase services, including Authentication, Firestore, Cloud Messaging, or Analytics, is an advantage.
• Experience with unit testing, widget testing, and application debugging.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines for mobile application deployment is preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience working in Agile development environments.
• Previous experience mentoring developers or leading technical initiatives is preferred.
