Summary

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our Engineering team and help drive the growth of PointFive.
In this role, you'll be responsible for designing, developing and maintaining large-scale distributed components that power PointFive.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about tackling scaling challenges and takes pride in writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code - leveraging everything the AI era has to offer. Join us in our mission to make the cloud more efficient.

Our tech stack includes Golang, Temporal, GraphQL, PostgreSQL, Snowflake, AWS, Kubernetes and React.

Job requirements

• 8+ years of experience in backend software development (using languages such as Golang, Java, Python, C#, etc.).

• Experience with large scale distributed systems

• Proven expertise in leveraging AI coding agents for accelerated development, while ensuring system quality.

• Experience with SQL and data modeling.

• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g. AWS, GCP, Azure)

• Advantage - Experience with big data technologies, such as Snowflake or comparable solutions.

Job responsibilities

• End-to-end development of backend software components (research, design, development, testing, rollout, monitoring).

• Contributing to technological and architectural decisions.

• Conducting design and code reviews.

• Analyzing and improving efficiency, scalability, and stability of various backend system components.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver top-tier solutions.
