Job Description:

As a Server at The Fat Pigeon, you will be responsible for ensuring our guests have a memorable dining experience by providing excellent service, detailed knowledge of our menu, and a welcoming attitude. You will be an integral part of our team, contributing to the overall atmosphere and success of our bar.

Responsibilities:

• Greet guests warmly and promptly upon arrival.
• Present menus and provide detailed information on food and beverages, including ingredients, preparation methods, and potential allergens.
• Take accurate food and drink orders and relay them to the kitchen and bar staff.
• Serve food and beverages promptly and efficiently.
• Ensure guest satisfaction by checking in periodically and addressing any concerns or requests.
• Maintain a clean and organized dining area, including setting tables, clearing dishes, and restocking supplies.
• Process payments accurately, including handling cash and credit transactions.
• Follow all safety and sanitation policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with the bar and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation and service.
• Attend staff meetings and training sessions as required.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a server in a high-volume restaurant or bar.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of food and beverage pairings, including cocktails, wine, and beer.
• Ability to stand, walk, and carry trays for extended periods.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to handle and resolve customer complaints in a professional manner.
