Sourcing Engineer

• Insure that correct prices,quality for components are available for pre-production and first lot of mass production.

• Setup ERP system with correct purchasing data.

• Coordinate with Program management to solve customer related issues.

• Negotiating pricing, terms and conditions for the supply base

• Identify and qualify new sources.

• Responsible for setup material/tooling for new prototype projects

Requirements

General context

• Strategic purchasing or equivalent working experience.

• Minimum 2 years working experience in sourcing especially for Electronic, Mechanical, PCB and Plastic in electronics industry, preferably contract manufacturing.

• Possess excellent interpersonal, communication and time management skills.

• Possess strong ability to locate, quality, and develop sources of supply. Must be able to work with suppliers to continually improve quality, cost, delivery while reducing lead-time.

• Highly detail oriented and organized, having a sense of urgency and good follow-through.

• Good working knowledge of materials and sources of supply which ensure prices are consistent with quality requirements.

• MRP system skills and knowledge required.

• Excellent administrative and communication skills.

• Good command in English.
