Supply Chain Analyst, Labor Planning

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Supply Chain Analyst, Labor Planning based in India.

This role supports labor and capacity planning across a growing network of fulfillment centers.
You’ll use data and analytical tools to optimize staffing levels, operational efficiency, costs, and service performance.
The position combines supply chain analysis, workforce planning, reporting, and cross-functional collaboration.
You’ll build and maintain planning models, dashboards, and reporting solutions using Excel, SQL, and Power BI.
Your analysis will help operations teams make informed decisions around labor allocation, peak periods, and network expansion.
You’ll work closely with operational and implementation stakeholders in a fast-paced, data-driven environment.
The role offers an opportunity to contribute directly to scalable fulfillment operations while developing your analytical and supply chain expertise.

• Assess current and projected labor capacity across fulfillment centers to optimize staffing for cost efficiency and service-level performance.

• Maintain and continuously improve staff planning models across multiple facilities.

• Build, update, and manage labor planning tools and dashboards using Excel, SQL, and Power BI.

• Conduct analytical simulations and reconcile information from multiple systems to validate labor models and ensure data accuracy.

• Collaborate with operations stakeholders, process managers, and implementation teams to align labor plans with operational requirements and merchant needs.

• Support peak-season labor planning and strategic initiatives related to network expansion and capacity management.

• Develop centralized reporting solutions that provide reliable data and enable informed operational planning.

• Translate complex operational and workforce data into actionable insights and recommendations.

• Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to additional analytical and planning initiatives as required.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.

• 3+ years of experience in labor planning or capacity planning, preferably within warehousing, fulfillment, logistics, or e-commerce environments.

• Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to work confidently with large or complex datasets.

• Advanced proficiency in Excel and practical experience with SQL.

• Familiarity with Power BI; experience with Python is a plus.

• Ability to build and maintain analytical models, dashboards, and reporting tools.

• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing operational challenges.

• Ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for operational and business stakeholders.

• Strong attention to detail, particularly when reconciling data across multiple systems.

• Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across operations and cross-functional teams.

• Comfortable working evening hours in India, primarily around 6 PM to 3 AM IST, to maintain overlap with US-based teams, with some flexibility in exact working hours.
