System Security Officer & Security Operation Officer (Contract 2 years)

About the Role

We are looking for a System Security Officer to help protect the company's systems and data on a day-to-day basis. This role is a great fit for someone who wants to build hands-on experience in cybersecurity operations, incident response, and security automation. You will work closely with senior team members and other departments, so this is a good opportunity to learn and grow in the field.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and maintain the company's data protection system to prevent sensitive information from leaking outside the organization
• Monitor and maintain the endpoint protection system that keeps company laptops and computers safe from malware and other threats
• Monitor and manage email security to protect the company from phishing, spam, and other email-based threats
• Act as the main point of contact when the group-level Security Operations Center (SOC) team reaches out with alerts or requests
• Work together with relevant teams to investigate and respond to security incidents, and help resolve them quickly and properly
• Help build and improve automation tools, including AI-based tools, to make security monitoring and response work faster and more efficient
• Keep records and reports of incidents, alerts, and daily security operations tasks
• Follow up on open issues and escalate to senior team members when needed

Qualification:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field
• 0-3 years of experience in a security-related role (e.g. SOC, security operations, security monitoring, or a security internship)
• Fresh graduates with a strong academic or project background in cybersecurity (e.g. relevant coursework, certifications, CTF experience, or internship in security) may also be considered
• Basic understanding of how networks, email systems, and computer systems work
• Interested in cybersecurity and willing to learn new tools and technologies
• Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Able to communicate clearly, both in writing and speaking, in Thai and English
• Able to work well with different teams and stay calm when handling incidents
• Basic knowledge of scripting or automation (e.g. Python) is a plus, but not required
